This thermal isomerization device (TID) adopts 8 single tube as a completed unit to produce Dihydromyrcene or myrcene under negative pressure.

  1. Dihydromyrcene

    α-Pinene under the action of hydrogenation to form Pinane, then the Pinane (95%) enters into the thermal isomerization reactor undergo heterogeneous reaction after evaporated by vaporizer under the negative press, control the heterogeneous temperature between 400℃ to 800℃ and the pressure between -0.04 to -0.07 Mpa, and then instantaneous to get gaseous crude dihydromyrcene(65%), and then collect the dihydromyrcene liquid to receiving/storage tank after the cooling by condenser.

    Upon the requirement of next production process, the crude dihydromyrcene after continuous extraction process by 4 towers to get concentrated dihydromyrcene.

  2. Myrcene

    β-Pinene(96%) enters into the thermal isomerization reactor undergo heterogeneous reaction after evaporated by vaporizer under the negative press, control the heterogeneous temperature between 500℃ to 700℃ and the pressure between -0.06 to -0.09 Mpa, and then instantaneous to get gaseous crude myrcene(78%), collect the myrcene liquid to receiving/storage tank after the cooling by condenser.

Dihydromyrcene: A perfume intermediate and can be used to produce dihydromyrcenol, citronellol and other products.

Myrcene: Hydrocarbon synthetic perfume and can be used in cologne and deodorant. It is also an important raw material for synthesizing terpene synthetic perfumes such as geraniol, linalool, neo-lingeraldehyde, and citrus aldehyde.
